What is Fish Pedicure?

What Is It About?

A fish pedicure is a very interesting type of spa treatment that you can use. This is a process that can involve the feet being treated with a series of fish around them. It is a process that can be used every couple of months to get the feet taken care of.

A fish pedicure will work in that a series of small fish will be used around one’s feet. You would stick your feet into a bowl of warm water that is filled with a series of fish. These fish would then consume dead skin cells around the feet. This will be used as a means of ensuring that your feet can feel more comfortable and not have many dead skin cells around them. This could end up being critical to your energy needs.

What Fish Are Used?

The fish that would be used in a fish pedicure are garra rufa fish. These are commonly referred to as doctor fish. They are fish for a fish pedicure that work with gentle nibbling actions to target dead skin cells. These fish will not attack the skin’s healthy areas. They can even work to consume materials that feature psoriasis on them. This can be used to keep the skin comfortable.

Is It Legal?

There are some concerns about the legality of fish pedicure processes. There are some places where you could use this as an alternative treatment option. However, the problem with a fish pedicure is that some areas have banned the practice. This is due to how some places find this to be an unsanitary and in some cases inhumane practice. You should take a look at where you can legally get a fish pedicure at before getting one. You should also see that the water that is being used is safe and easy to handle.
