Chronic Chapped Lips Cure - chapstick chapped lip and things like chemistry

The skin on our lips is actually mucous membrane, so for them to remain smooth and chap free is a bit of a challenge. The most common cause of cracked lips are allergic reaction to cosmetics, skin infections, extreme weather conditions like excess sun and wind exposure, biting of the lips or a vitamin B deficiency.

Chapped lips can be a source of lost confidence for going to the hip hop parties specially in the winters when the lips are far too presentable. So why wait for the summers to pitch in for the partying. Follow the cure for the chapped lips and you are done.

Massage dry lips with a generous dollop of petroleum jelly. Allow it to get to work for a couple of minutes to soften your skin. Then, gently rub your lips with a warm, damp facecloth. As the petroleum jelly is removed, the flakes of skin will come with it.

Keep lips soft by not licking them.

Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.

If dryness, cracking or soreness of the lip has already developed, it is especially important to use a medicated product to provide relief.  A product with a penetrating analgesic can soothe the lips quickly and effectively. 

If your lips are prone to dryness and flaking, or if you would like to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on your lips, a lip care product that exfoliates damaged skin cells while rehydrating your lips could be the best choice.

Stop your lips getting so chapped and flaky

Drinking plenty of water to prevent dehydration, and applying a coating of lip balm before bed to help to moisturize lips while you sleep.

When participating in outdoor activity, use a lip balm that contains a SPF of at least 15 to prevent sunburn. Add base coat of lip balm prior to applying lipstick during the dry winter months. If lips become chapped, avoid wearing lipsticks while lips are recovering as drying products in color pigments may irritate chapped lips.

Switch to a moisturizing lipstick to prevent your lips from drying out during the daytime.

Home Made Recipe for chapped lips

Mix 2 drops of glycerine with 1 tsp of cream on the top of milk and apply to lips to cure the chapped lips and keep overnight to get smooth   and shiny lips.

Grind rose petals with cream on the top of milk and apply on lips to cure the cracked lips.

To cure dry chapped lips apply peanut butter or coco butter to your lips before going to bed.
