Appropriate lighting is important when you apply make-up. Make-up in the kind of light you will be seen. Avoid making-up in fluorescent light.
Keep your clothes in mind. The make-up colours should be harmonious.
Your foundation shou!d be as close to your natural skin tone as possible.
Do not experiment with new make-up techniques or cosmetics just be
fore any important occasion.
Keep your make-up brushes and sponges clean by washing them in
warm soapy water once in about ten days. Rinse them thoroughly with plain water afterwards.
Use a clean blusher brush to blend, instead of the brush that you use for applying.
After applying your make-up, check to see that there are no
smudges. Take a large clean powder brush and lightly brush your face, ta remove excess powder, or eye shadow that may have dropped on your face.
