The Best Selling Loose Face Powder by Body Shop

Body Shop - The amazing loose face powder

This loose face powder is amazing, it is a long-lasting, lightweight ultra-fine loose powder to apply over foundation or concealer to help reduce shine and set make-up. It goes in very smooth, soaks up oil well throughout the day and doesn't make you face look cakey. It provides a luxuriously smooth and matte finish and dermatological tested. The powder however is lovely and extremely fine. A long-lasting lightweight ultra-fine loose powder minimizes the appearance of fine lines and set make-up.

Loose Face Powder Ingredients

Marula Oil – It is a very effective moisturizer that also helps to condition the skin over time. Also provides essential fatty acids that help to repair the skin’s moisture barrier, thus helping to restore moisture, smoothness and suppleness. Talc (Absorbent/Bulking Agent), Nylon-12 (Absorbent/Bulking Agent), Polyethylene (Opacifier), Silica (Absorbent), Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil (Skin Conditioning Agent), Mica (Opacifier), Tocopheryl Acetate (Antioxidant), PTFE (Bulking Agent), Boron Nitride (Bulking Agent), Phenoxyethanol (Preservative), Methylparaben (Preservative), Tetra sodium EDTA (Chelating Agent). [CI 77492 (Color), CI 77491 (Color), CI 77891 (Color), CI 77499 (Color), CI 77742 (Color)]. Light reflective particles – Instantly brighten the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

How to apply on Oily Skin

If you have oily skin, then you may have to touch up the loose face powder every 4 hours so that it will keep the oil at bay. You may apply this with a dense kabuki brush or a fluffy powder brush. It also works fine with a powder puff. I love the classy packaging and the amount of product in there. You can overlook that since you love the weightless feel and the smooth texture.

Here are some Reviews of Body Shop loose Face Powder

  1. I bought this just a couple of days ago. This provides better coverage than the powder I usually use and the color (I bought number 3) suits my skin tone better. My face also stays matte longer. Overall, not a bad product.
  2. I like this loose powder but my skin looks a little bit dry sometimes. I think it is good for everyday makeup after the foundation.
  3. I've heard a few complaints about the mineral foundation. This does control oil but not for long.
  4. I love this loose powder, I dust it over my liquid foundation in the morning to control shine and by the time I come home my makeup is still shine free. I definitely would recommend to everyone.

Have Some Precautions

When you are applying the powder, just take a little powder on the lid and then sweep the powder on the brush from the lid itself. This will keep our product bacteria free to the maximum. If you are applying cream/gel blush, you should follow these application steps: foundation then gel/cream blush then loose powder. This will keep your blush last longer and prevent it from melting. And be careful, close the lid of your loose powder tightly or else you would be complaining about loose powder being messy.
