Cholinergic Urticaria Treatment

Cholinergic Urticaria is also known as physical urticaria, suggesting that it is caused by a physical stimulus. It could be of many different types depending on what kind it is of. The physical stimulus might be stated as heat even though the actual cause is defined as sweating.

The occurrences of cholinergic urticaria in United States is varied. The Scientists in their extensive research found and discovered that in an outpatient dermatology clinic approximately 0.2% of patients had cholinergic urticaria, but many other reports published show it to be more common.

There are more occurrences in persons with atopic conditions such as follows:

  • asthma,
  • rhinitis, and
  • atopic eczema;

However, this information is not exclusive enough to give the strong proof.

Causes
